today we had an advance birthday celebration for my father at jumbo @ dempsey. we had this $50 off voucher and a free birthday cake voucher. so 不用白不用. since we've nv been to dempsey, and i've heard much about that place, i've decided to treat them to jumbo!the place is really purely for dining. there's nothing except for restaurants and more restaurants. and i think alot of rich ppl frequent there too! coz i saw at least 5 sports cars there!
and although today is a wkday, the place is packed with cars and people at night! or perhaps coz today is friday night?
my table setting. trying to act fine dining i guessss.we ordered a set meal, but the crab is damn small.. so my dad decided to order an extra large crab.
yes. it is XXXL. triple X. gosh. and it is freaking big i tell u.
ta dah! 2.4kg!! and this thing cost 90 over dollars!
my dad told me that we have to put our fist beside the crab to have a gauge of how big it is!yes. i got a shock. it's damn biggg!
and another shock is when the bill come. 200 over dollars with only 4 ppl!!! -_-"
in the end we couldn't finish the XXXL crab and had to da bao back home, together with the complimentary cake!
we sang song and cut cake early so that we can eat the cake!! hEH heh. had a sudden cravings for cake when i reached home, although i'm still bloated from the dinnner!
yay yay!
